Your journey into Azuria likely began with Buried Heroes, book one in the Age of Azuria epic fantasy series. But from there, where do you go next?
Should you backtrack and read Aurora? Should you continue on into Hadvarian Heist? Or should you turn back the dial only a little and read Song of Parting?
The purpose of this post is to help you decide!
Suggested Reading Order
In this first part of the reading order suggestions, I’ll help you decide where to go next if you’ve started with Buried Heroes or if you’ve started with Aurora.
Starting with Buried Heroes
Yay, so you’ve just finished Buried Heroes! Where to go next?
If you really want to know what happens next for Iellieth, Genevieve, and Teodric, then I would continue on to Hadvarian Heist. (Amber Queen, book three, will be out at the end of August!)
Or, maybe you’re super curious about the backstory between Iellieth and Teodric? Or you’d like to learn more about Katarina. In that case, I’d suggest Song of Parting!
Maybe Yvayne’s character really resonated with you or you’d like to learn how a reserved character like Emelyee ended up with a half-elf daughter in the first place. In that case, I’d check out Aurora! Join the Story Enclave for a free ebook copy!
Starting with Aurora
After Aurora, I would spin the threads of fate forward about twenty-two years and dive into the adventures of Buried Heroes. (Click that link to get your copy for free from me or here from your favorite store!) From there, you can turn the threads back again for Song of Parting or continue on into Hadvarian Heist!
I’ve read Buried Heroes and Hadvarian Heist. Now what?
Such a fun question!
I would probably read the novellas in chronological order, starting with Aurora and then moving on into Song of Parting and then Story Magic.
When should I read Story Magic?
Story Magic is for after Hadvarian Heist. Though it picks up Persephonie’s storyline at the end of Buried Heroes, the intention behind it was to expand on the narratives in Hadvarian Heist. It’s the perfect book to tide you over before Amber Queen comes out in August!
I hope this helped you decide where you’d next like to go on your reading adventure through Azuria!
