Phantom, Chapter Two, The Third Night’s Banquet
Silas returned to his suite to collect himself and his own courtesans before they proceeded down to the third night’s dinner. It would be a less tense though more important affair than those of the previous two nights, and he needed both Comfort and Vice to serve as extra sets of eyes for him with so many sudden additions to the court. Though the priestesses were a cause for concern by sheer numbers alone, he couldn’t take his thoughts from the fae in his family’s necklace.
Before the night was out, he would return it to his own possession.
