Hello adventurers, and welcome to the World of Azuria podcast! In this episode, we dive into the world of Azuria with chapter one of Buried Heroes, book one in the Age of Azuria epic fantasy series. 

My name is Beth Ball, author of the Age of Azuria epic fantasy series, which we’ll explore in this podcast. Some episodes will sweep us away into the magical fantasy world of Azuria with chapters from the novels and stories. In others, we’ll dive into the lore behind Azuria. I’ll also answer your questions about the world, characters, and more.

Episode Summary

In chapter one of Buried Heroes, Iellieth prepares to leave Io Keep for a marriage forced by her stepfather, Duke Calderon Amastacia. Before she goes, the young noblewoman stops to visit with her close friend, Katarina, in the castle gardens.

Iellieth is determined that the trap Calderon intends to bind her will be the very thing that sets her free.
